Bar Keepers Friend uses oxalic acid rather than bleach, so it cuts through rust, limescale, burnt-on food and the grey film that builds on stainless steel, without scratching. Sinks come up bright, pots look new again, and the base of your favourite jollof pot loses its stubborn dark ring. Wet the surface, sprinkle a little powder, rub with a damp cloth or soft sponge, then rinse well within a minute. A small amount goes a long way. Not for use on marble, granite, gold or lacquered surfaces.
